Jacqueline Schwab was Ken Burns’ pianist of choice on all of his PBS films: Civil War, Thomas Jefferson, Lewis & Clark, Mark Twain, The National Parks, the Baseball series and his most recent, Tenth Inning. She has performed at the White House for President Clinton, (celebrating Burns’ Lewis & Clark series) and also with singer Jean Redpath on A Prairie Home Companion and CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman.

Jacqueline’s solo concerts feature her arrangements of vintage American music such as Mark Twain’s era and beyond, Civil War tunes, Victorian ballroom dance tunes, Scots & Irish songs brought over by the settlers, hymns & spirituals, ragtime and Billie Holiday blues.
