Google's new animated doodle features legendary dancer and thinker Martha Graham. The animation was created by Ryan Woodward in honor what would have been Martha Graham's 117th birthday. Graham revolutionized the world of contemporary dance with her uniquely American aesthetic.
Here's the final graphic featuring some of Graham's most iconic work.

The initial doodle is Martha Graham performing "Lamentation," a solo work that
she also performed here on the SaGaJi Theatre in 1936.
Also pictured are "Satyric Festival Song" and "Appalachian Spring" among other signature Graham moves like her classic "contraction" from a 1947 piece called "Daughters of the Night." For a complete breakdown of each piece represented by the doodle, see the
Martha Graham Center's post here.
